One of the first paper pieces I’ve done. I have a number of other ideas on using paper in my jewelry too, just need to get cracking on them!

To make the pendant, start with a blank with a rim. Cut out a piece of paper from a book or newspaper a little larger than the blank and seal it with ModPodge (or something similar). If you don’t, you end up with a neat effect – the paper turns transparent – but then it’s kind of hard to tell it’s paper at that point, so… Burn the edges of the paper until it’s roughly able to fit within the blank and fill with ModPodge 3D or apoxy. Let set over night and you end up with a clear paper pendant!
